Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Net-Webdesign processes information when a user connects a Google Business Profile to the Net-Webdesign Google Reviews integration.
1. Information we access
After the user grants permission through Google OAuth 2.0, the integration may access:
- Google Business Profile accounts and locations available to the connected user;
- the selected business name, account identifier and location identifier;
- the business rating and total review count;
- review content, rating, publication or update date, and reviewer information made available by Google;
- technical OAuth information required to maintain the authorised connection.
Net-Webdesign does not receive or store the user’s Google password.
2. How the information is used
The information is used only to:
- let the user select an authorised Business Profile location;
- display the selected business rating and reviews on the connected website;
- maintain, secure and troubleshoot the integration;
- respond to support requests initiated by the user.
Google account data is not sold, rented, used for targeted advertising or used to build advertising profiles.
3. Storage and retention
The service stores the selected Business Profile identifiers and the authorisation information required to keep the connection active. Authorisation tokens are kept on the server and are not exposed in the public website code.
Review data may be cached for the minimum period reasonably required to operate the website widget and maintain service performance. Data is retained only while the integration remains connected or as required for security, troubleshooting and legal obligations.
4. Sharing of information
Information is not shared with unrelated third parties. It may be processed by Google, the hosting infrastructure used to operate the CMS, and service providers strictly necessary to provide or secure the integration.
5. User control and deletion
The user may disconnect the Google Business Profile integration from the CMS at any time and may revoke access through their Google Account permissions. A user may also request deletion of connection data by contacting Net-Webdesign.
6. Security
Net-Webdesign applies reasonable technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect authorisation credentials and connected business data against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or loss.
7. Google API data
Net-Webdesign’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
8. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the integration or applicable requirements change. The current version and its update date will remain available on this page.
